A 23-year-old was caught with a narcotic substance in the village of Livoq i Epërm in Gjilan during an operation by the Unit for the Investigation of Drug Trafficking, Sinjali has learned from sources close to the case.
Sources indicate that the person in question is Albion Zeqiri, around 23 years old.
According to the information, the incident occurred on May 15, 2026, at approximately 21:45 during the operational plan “April 2026,” when investigators from the DHTN were patrolling the area known as “te Pishat.”
Sinjali has learned that the investigators encountered two young men near a vehicle, and during the search of Albion Zeqiri, a bag containing a substance suspected to be marijuana was found.
After a field test, the substance tested positive for marijuana and weighed 0.65 grams.
In consultation with the State Prosecutor, it was decided that the suspect would be released after questioning under regular procedure.
The case has been initiated as “Unauthorized possession of a narcotic, psychotropic, or analogous substance.”
